Simon graduated in politics from Edinburgh University. He then became a respected producer in television commercials before seeing the error of his ways and joining The Proudfoot Company to help us make documentaries more efficiently. Simon is always charming, resourceful and creative – we all have weaknesses and his is Portsmouth Football Club.
Eddie Frost
Eddie returned home after studying abroad in Alaska with a taste for documentary film making and far flung places. He is interested in people and what they do.
Gemma Chapman
Gemma’s first job was at a London-based broadcast Indy. For the last 10 years she has been self shooting and directing documentaries and features. Highlights include several trips to a remote island in Northern Fiji, filming the length and breadth of North America and working on the BAFTA winning first series of The Apprentice. In search of a change in direction, Gemma has now moved over to ‘the other side’ and is happily production managing for Proudfoot.
Rick Horsfall
After spending the summer of 2006 living and working in rural Tanzania one of his great passions is the continent of Africa. He has studied various areas of media throughout the last 5 years eventually graduating from The Lincoln School of Media 2009, won two RTS awards and now finds himself living and working in the big city of London.
Helena Wright
Helena speaks French and Russian, and serendipitously landed at Proudfoot after her adventures in languages at Bristol University. She enjoys talking, especially to people who create things, and loves finding beauty in unexpected places. Music is her abiding passion – an inveterate dabbler in anything from opera to funk, she has found her groove as a Production Assistant and spends her spare time seeking out sound and song all over the capital.
